Gastronomixs was originally created from the idea that it should be fun to learn and keep up-to-date with your professional skills. Education itself is undergoing changes, and the choice between using hard copy or online materials is becoming an increasingly important consideration. Additionally, we are noticing changes in pedagogical insights. In the Netherlands, senior secondary vocational schools such as De Rooi Pannen and the Cas Spijkers Academie have already taken out collective memberships with Gastronomixs for their students. And starting from this academic year, the Koning Willem I College senior secondary catering school in ’s-Hertogenbosch will be incorporating Gastronomixs in both its theoretical and practical lessons.
During the course of the year, we will be adding charts for a wide range of classic dishes. It goes without saying that this is a huge step forward for schools in their day-to-day use of Gastronomixs.
