Gastronomixs goes to school

Gastronomixs used as teaching material in Dutch vocational education.
The Koning Willem I College senior secondary catering school in ’s-Hertogenbosch is incorporating Gastronomixs in its lessons!

Gastronomixs was originally created from the idea that it should be fun to learn and keep up-to-date with your professional skills. The team at Gastronomixs does everything it can to impart its knowledge of products and basic techniques as clearly and as inspiringly as possible. If you're looking for a classic preparation method, background information about a specific ingredient, or a special way to serve a particular seasonal product, you can visit Gastronomixs any time of day or night. It forever changes the way chefs acquire and share knowledge and find inspiration!

Education itself is undergoing changes, and the choice between using hard copy or online materials is becoming an increasingly important consideration. Additionally, we are noticing changes in pedagogical insights. In the Netherlands, senior secondary vocational schools such as De Rooi Pannen and the Cas Spijkers Academie have already taken out collective memberships with Gastronomixs for their students. And starting from this academic year, the Koning Willem I College senior secondary catering school in ’s-Hertogenbosch will be incorporating Gastronomixs in both its theoretical and practical lessons.

During the course of the year, we will be adding charts for a wide range of classic dishes. It goes without saying that this is a huge step forward for schools in their day-to-day use of Gastronomixs. Gastronomixs can also be used as part of the curriculum in schools and programmes outside the Netherlands! Want to know what the possibilities are? Just contact us to find out.
